Job Title: Senior Hardware Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Expleo Engineering UK Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic hardware for our clients in the aerospace, automotive, and defense industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic hardware for our clients, including circuit boards, backplanes, and other electronic components.
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure that all designs are thoroughly tested and validated.
  • Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, bills of materials, and test plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our designs and processes.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in digital or analogue electronics design within a structured development environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, including Siemens Mentor suite, and simulation tools.
