Job Opportunity: Part-Time Coach for Junior Rowing Program

The British Rowing organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time coach to join our team and contribute to the development of our junior rowing program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coaching and development of junior rowers across various squads
  • Work collaboratively with our existing team, including the Head of Rowing and Co-Captains, to achieve program goals
  • Develop and implement training plans to help junior rowers improve their skills and prepare for competitions
  • Provide guidance and support to junior rowers, helping them to achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive team culture

Requirements:

  • Experience working with junior age rowers or a strong background in rowing coaching
  • British Rowing Level 2 coaching award and RYA Powerboat 2 certification (or willingness to obtain within a few months)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for rowing and a commitment to the development of junior rowers
