Aircraft Materials Controller Job Description

Ascend Airways, a leading ACMI provider, is seeking a skilled Aircraft Materials Controller to join our team at London Gatwick. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the procurement and management of aircraft materials, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase and manage inventory of aircraft components, including AOG and ADD demands
  • Organize shipping and prioritize inventory based on demand status
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and consigned stock at line stations
  • Collaborate with accounts to ensure timely invoicing and adherence to business requirements
  • Ensure quality standards are met and report any breaches to maintain quality control
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of aircraft components and regulations
  • Experience with Business Central or similar aircraft parts platforms
  • Good computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills
  • Clean driving license
  • Experience with inventory management and logistics
