Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Research & Development team in Slough on a permanent basis. As a key member of our mechanical design business unit, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative Dry Gas Seal products that meet our departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement development plans and specifications for standard or special products.
- Project manage development programs to plan and budget.
- Perform and monitor testing of seal designs.
- Provide detailed technical presentations to customers to support sales and training initiatives.
- Perform mechanical design and analyses.
- Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Accredited mechanical engineering degree with a sound understanding of engineering principles.
- Full knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drawing with CAD software.
- Creative design capabilities and ability to identify new systems and processes to drive quality and efficiency.
- Ability to self-manage projects and ensure on-time delivery.
