About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Materials Planning Specialist to join our team at Ambitek Limited. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of raw materials into our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
  • Raise purchase orders and manage supplier delivery management.
  • Plan and execute supplier delivery management, including expediting and replanning deliveries.
  • Manage exception messages, purchase order price and delivery date amendments, and yard scheduling.
  • Update schedules for both inbound and outbound bulk materials and resolve invoice queries.
  • Support supplier review meetings and plan and order safety stocks.
  • Work closely with manufacturing to understand run rates and attend weekly SIOP and Sales and Production meetings.
  • Reconcile invoices against shipments and ensure health and safety guidelines are maintained.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years' experience in manufacturing raw materials planning and purchasing.
  • Proficient in data entry using ERP systems, such as SAP or Syteline.
  • Supply chain experience.
Working Arrangements

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in an office-based environment.
