Senior Procurement Manager

Trostan Dene is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust procurement risk management framework and methodology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a procurement risk management strategy to ensure effective risk management throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks at an enterprise, category, or supplier level.
- Analyze macro environment risks using third-party risk platforms and media to identify emerging risks that could impact the supply chain.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project procurement managers, strategic supplier relationship managers, and senior leadership.
- Produce internal briefing and communication material on macro environment risks and how our procurement team can mitigate against them.
- Support the development of risk mitigation strategies and oversee implementation of mitigation actions by the project procurement manager community.
- Conduct regular risk audits, drive governance reviews internally, and lead supplier mass engagement activities.
- Support the supplier on-boarding and risk assessment process.
- Manage and maintain the procurement risk register.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background in strategic and commercial procurement environments with experience in risk management implementation and delivery. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while building strong relationships with members of the team.
