About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Leigh Academies Trust. As a key member of our Estates Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our academy premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Estates Manager in maintaining the upkeep of the academy premises, including minor repairs and refurbishment works.
  • Provide porterage services and support the wider Estates Team with various duties.
  • Ensure the health and safety and security of the academy, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Trustworthy and reliable with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
  • Physically fit and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good DIY skills and knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
  • Basic IT skills and an understanding of safeguarding principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team culture.
