Town Planner Job in Cornwall

Join a leading architecture and planning firm in Cornwall as a Town Planner, working on commercial and residential projects across the South. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000 plus benefits and development opportunities.

About the Role

As a Town Planner, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of planners, designers, architects, and landscape architects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and submitting planning applications
  • Providing advice on planning matters
  • Conducting land development assessments
  • Attending internal and external meetings throughout the planning process
  • Staying up-to-date on local and national planning policy changes
  • Preparing monthly progress reports
  • Collaborating with the land and technical teams
  • Supporting the Planning Director
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working as a Town Planner in the public or private sectors
  • A degree qualification and working towards Chartership (MRTPI)
  • Client-facing experience
  • Major development experience, with renewable energy project experience desirable
