GIS Lead Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Lead Architect to join our team at Addition+. As a GIS Lead Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and mentorship to GIS analysts, developers, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to GIS teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality GIS solutions.
  • Design and implement integration strategies for GIS with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and databases.
  • Develop and maintain the overall GIS architecture, including data models, application frameworks, and integration strategies.
  • Lead GIS projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or architectural role with a strong background in GIS.
  • Knowledge of spatial databases, such as PostGIS and Oracle Spatial.
  • Proficiency in GIS software, including ArcGIS and QGIS, and programming languages, such as Python and SQL.
  • Experience working with cutting-edge technologies and a willingness to learn new skills.
