Exciting Opportunity for a Design Engineer

C-Tech Recruitment is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join a leading heavy machinery manufacturer in the Cookstown area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a booming market and contribute to the design and development of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new products from concept to completion, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry regulations.
  • Modify existing machinery to meet bespoke customer needs, producing working drawings and engineering specifications.
  • Specify components for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Attend client site visits to understand customer needs and establish effective design solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in full product design in a heavy engineering environment, such as recycling, screening & crushing, agricultural machinery, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Solid Works, Solid Edge, or Creo, with a creative and innovative approach to design.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
