Job Overview:
ABC Teachers is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Sports Specialist who will also take on the role of a Cover Supervisor in educational institutions.
Primary Duties:
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
Oversee student activities during teacher absence, ensuring that learners stay focused on assigned tasks.
Maintain classroom discipline and foster a constructive learning atmosphere.
Deliver pre-prepared lessons across different subjects as outlined in the curriculum.
Assist students with their inquiries and provide support in their academic pursuits.
Communicate any concerns or issues to the appropriate Head of Department or Senior Leadership Team.
Lead or assist in Physical Education sessions within the PE Department.
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience in coaching a variety of sports to youth is essential.
Prior experience in an educational environment, especially in a cover supervisor capacity, is advantageous.
Strong skills in classroom management and the ability to engage students of diverse abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Personal Qualities:
Passionate and enthusiastic about sports and education.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to engage in physical activities.
Flexible, with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young individuals.
