Regulatory Actuarial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Actuarial Manager to join our team at The Emerald Group. As a key member of our Actuarial team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our regulatory and statutory actuarial processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the design and implementation of IFRS 17, SII TP, and related areas for Syndicate, Group, and Entity reporting.
- Coordinate and deliver actuarial calculations performed during the IFRS 17 and SII TP calculation process, working closely with Actuarial and Finance teams.
- Oversee all actuarial aspects of IFRS 17 and SII TP reporting and analytics, including assumptions, calculations, and documentation of results.
- Contribute to the Reserving MI platform as required to support IFRS 17 and SII TP actuarial processes.
- Qualified Actuary (FIA, FFA, or equivalent).
- Relevant, numerate degree with a good overall grade.
- Experience of managing a small team of analysts/students and prioritizing others' workloads.
- Expert regulatory knowledge and sound commercial general insurance company market experience.
