About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Nurse Team Manager to join our dynamic Community Dental team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of dental nurses and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in our urgent care clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of dental nurses in the delivery of patient care in urgent care clinics
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical Director to develop and implement service improvements
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and deliver training programs for dental nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Registration as a Dental Nurse with the General Dental Council
  • Comprehensive knowledge of infection control procedures and personal health and safety responsibilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain concentration for long periods of time
  • Experience of working in a Community Dental Service or similar setting
