About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Nurse Team Manager to join our dynamic Community Dental team in Swindon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of dental nurses, overseeing the organization of staffing for clinical sessions, and contributing to the safe and efficient running of the Community Dental Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of dental nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Oversee the organization of staffing for clinical sessions, including urgent care, out-of-hours, and special care clinics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Registration as a Dental Nurse with the General Dental Council.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing a team.
