Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Jackie Kerr Recruitment Ltd. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality control processes to prevent defects and errors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough product tests and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Goods In Inspection: Inspect all components at various stages of the manufacturing process to identify any defects or irregularities.
  • Quality Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of build and inspection processes, and ensure that all quality-related documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the quality team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Defect Reporting: Identify and report any defects or irregularities, and work with the quality team to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet quality standards.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Ensure that all calibrated tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate and complete documentation, including ISIRs, inspection checklists, and other quality-related documents.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a quality department, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.
