Job Title: Pensions & Treasury Accountant

Job Summary:

Service Care Solutions - Legal is seeking a highly skilled Pensions & Treasury Accountant to join our team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide accounting and reporting services for our client's pension fund and treasury management functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Pensions and Treasury in the provision of accounting and reporting services for the authority's pension fund and treasury management functions.
  • Prepare pension fund annual accounts and treasury management notes to the Council's statement of accounts.
  • Support the Council's day-to-day pension fund and treasury management activities, including daily cash flow management.
  • Provide instructions and information to treasury advisors and pension fund service providers, including the fund's investment and actuarial advisors.

Requirements:

  • CCAB/CIMA Qualified Accountant or Equivalent
  • Experience in treasury and cash flow management for large organizations, preferably public sector
  • Experience of preparing notes for annual accounts/statement of accounts
  • Good management skills with the ability to lead a team to carry out an effective service
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
