We are currently in search of a

Quality Assurance Engineer

to become part of our team focused on creating a better future. This is a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborating with the Quality team and other departments to ensure the overall excellence of our products and solutions delivered to our clients. This will involve generating and reviewing quality-related documentation; assisting customer and Shipping Classification Society visits, and engaging with suppliers to maintain and enhance product quality.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing material certifications against specifications, non-destructive examination, and material testing reports.
  • Inspecting seal assemblies during production, at testing stages, and prior to packaging.
  • Drafting reports to fulfill customer contracts, including Factory Acceptance Tests, material certifications, and dimensional reporting.
  • Analyzing data to identify recurring issues and determine necessary corrective and preventive measures.
  • Engaging in internal and external quality matters.
  • Assisting with customer complaint and warranty investigations.
  • Supporting Internal Non-Conformance Report investigations.
  • Conducting internal audits as needed.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Aiding in product and project delivery quality planning activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations locally.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a comparable role.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Experience in conducting audits.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal communication, technical writing, and process enhancement skills.
  • Background in a highly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools, concepts, and methodologies, such as root cause analysis, 8D, Pareto analysis, and FMECA.

This role may require travel to meet with our clients and suppliers, primarily within the UK but occasionally internationally. We expect you to be prepared for travel as necessary.
