Position Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our client's team, a renowned event production firm recognized for its creative set design and decoration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate logistics operations, ensuring efficient scheduling of truck and van deliveries and collections.
  • Provide clear instructions to both in-house and freelance site teams.
  • Organize and schedule agency crew for on-site and warehouse tasks.
  • Oversee driver scheduling and key collections for out-of-hours operations.
  • Maintain adequate vehicle and crew levels within the warehouse.
  • Address last-minute delivery and collection requests, as well as vehicle overspills.
  • Download and compile truck tachograph data, ensuring timely vehicle maintenance.
  • Handle parking and driving fines, ensuring proper resolution.
  • Keep staff records and training documentation current.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and logistics experience.
  • Possess knowledge of delivery planning across the UK.
  • Experience in event logistics is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.
