Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Procurement expert to lead our client's procurement function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies
    • Design and implement procurement strategies to optimize the sourcing and procurement of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Build and Maintain Supplier Relationships
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
  • Oversee Procurement Process
    • Lead the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Conduct Market Research
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage Inventory
    • Manage the inventory of products at the distribution center, optimizing stock levels and minimizing wastage.

Requirements

  • Procurement Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Negotiation Skills
    • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms.
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Analytical Skills
    • Analytical mind-set with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Inventory Management
    • Experience managing inventory and logistics is highly desirable.
