At Workvine Limited, we are leaders in the design, production, and installation of commercial and industrial flue systems, committed to delivering high-quality products throughout the UK. We are in search of a proactive and meticulous Manufacturing Engineer / CAD Production Specialist to contribute to our operations at our production facility. This position is crucial to our workflow, concentrating on the development of production drawings, overseeing machine programming, and enhancing our manufacturing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for manufacturing.
  • Develop programs and DXF files for laser and plasma cutting equipment.
  • Enhance and optimize production technology and factory layouts.
  • Formulate and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and production cycle times.
  • Support the introduction of new product lines and machinery.
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure efficient production workflows.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Requirements:

  • Expertise in AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D) is mandatory.
  • Experience in production processes, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in managing Bill of Materials and utilizing spreadsheets for production planning.
  • Willingness to work onsite daily in an open office and manufacturing setting.
