About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Overton School, part of Options Autism. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with complex needs, including ASC, SLD, and MLD, to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with complex needs in the classroom and during outdoor activities
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Provide individualized support to students with specific learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Math
  • Experience working with vulnerable pupils or young people
  • Ability to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
