About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team as a GB System Developer. This role involves working on the GB System, a complex software platform operating on an IBM i-Series platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using strong programming skills and a solid understanding of SQL.
  • Collaborate with senior management and end-users to translate technical concepts into understandable terms.
  • Work on system analysis and design, ensuring maximum efficiency and communication.
  • Develop and maintain software applications using IBM RDi or Visual Studio Code with Code for IBM i extension.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of IBM i and RPG IV skills.
  • DB2 for i SQL skills and experience with development tools.
  • Microsoft Office, particularly Word, and knowledge of accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of payroll basics and experience with web design/development, HTML, JavaScript.
  • Windows Server, Office 365, and AWS experience is desirable.
