Software Developer Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop technical solutions, providing software development expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and apply them to complex problems, including COTS and specialist hardware, software, security, and networking technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, supervising, estimating, monitoring progress, and reporting.
  • Adhere to project processes and software development practices.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in C++, Java, or Rust for application and embedded code development.
  • Experience with coding for embedded systems.
  • Unit testing expertise, including writing and conducting unit tests for code reliability.
  • Professional experience in designing and implementing complex solutions, ideally in clean-slate projects and legacy code bases.
  • Comfort with platform APIs, development environments, and native debugging approaches on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android.
  • Commitment to code correctness and quality assurance through static analysis, code review, automated testing, and continuous integration.
  • Experience working on secure Government or MoD IT projects and programmes.
Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
