We are thrilled to announce a new opening for a Male Senior Care Practitioner at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland.
As a vital member of our team, you will oversee a group of support staff and play a key role in the daily operations of our services. This position is ideal for a seasoned care professional eager to advance their career or for those currently in a similar role seeking a new challenge.
About the Role: In your capacity as a Senior Care Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of support practitioners.
- Identifying training needs and facilitating development.
- Contributing to the creation of support plans.
- Managing staff schedules and participating in review meetings.
- Providing practical assistance with daily living activities and promoting a healthy lifestyle for those you support.
This full-time position requires a valid driving license and access to your own vehicle due to travel obligations. Senior staff members will also be expected to take on on-call duties on a rotational basis and assist with shift coverage as needed.
Requirements: To be considered for this rewarding role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting individuals within the care sector.
- Experience in leading teams within a social care setting.
- SVQ Level 3 or currently working towards it.
- A full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
