Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: London (East)

Salary: £26,862 - £29,887 + bonus + benefits (depending on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Housekeeping Supervisors work 5 days out of 7, between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Weekend shifts will be required on a rota basis.

We seek Housekeeping Supervisors who demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, take pride in their work, and can lead a team to deliver outstanding service, ensuring a safe and inviting home for our residents.

In this role, you will provide exemplary service and oversee a team of Housekeepers across multiple properties, ensuring our facilities are impeccably maintained, allowing our residents to thrive in a secure and welcoming atmosphere. This is a hands-on position where you will have ample opportunity to engage directly and share your expertise with those who call us home.

Key Responsibilities:

Organizing daily operations of the team, including task delegation, standard monitoring, and target setting Ensuring a clean, safe, and secure environment for all, collaborating with maintenance teams to address issues Providing direct support to the team to facilitate their learning and development, helping them reach their full potential Leading by example - taking initiative to address cleanliness issues proactively

You will also ensure that you and your team:

Build rapport with our residents and assist them in acclimating to their new surroundings Actively listen to residents, guiding them to available support when necessary Take ownership of challenges, including responding promptly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies Adhere to our policies, procedures, and established protocols at all times, including completing necessary monitoring and compliance tasks

A keen eye for detail, ensuring nothing goes unnoticed A dedicated individual willing to engage actively alongside your team An ability to delegate tasks equitably, considering team strengths and weaknesses A confident housekeeper capable of leading a small team when necessary Strong communication skills, including active listening and logical expression The ability to remain calm and focused in challenging or high-pressure situations Problem-solving skills to navigate new challenges effectively Comfort in working independently or collaboratively within a team Respect for the diverse cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds of others.
