About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Damp and Mould Remediation Specialist to join our team at Howells Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our Social Housing Repair and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks in social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out day-to-day repairs and renewals, including painting and decorating, mould remediation, and other tasks as required.
  • Ensure all works are completed on time and to a high standard, meeting the expectations of our clients.
  • Accountable for the timely delivery of job orders and completion dates, working closely with our Supervisor to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Drive from site to site as part of your duties, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle.
  • Provide a high level of customer care, ensuring that all clients' expectations are met.
  • Report to and liaise with the Supervisor to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Act responsibly and be diligent in carrying out your duties, adhering to Health and Safety legislation and wearing Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Undertake such duties as are commensurate with the post from time to time, as directed by Management.
  • Submit presentable and accurate paperwork, including PDA database information, as per contract requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience working in Social Housing, preferably in a repair and maintenance role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to drive and maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
  • Physical ability to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and bending.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
