About the Role

Mint Velvet is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive business growth. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, managing a team of sales associates, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Ambassador: Know and share the Mint Velvet brand story, understand how it shapes the retail landscape, and use this knowledge to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Market Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Mint Velvet's market position, competitors, and industry trends, and use this insight to inform business decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing store team that reflects the Mint Velvet brand profile and fosters a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Culture Development: Create an inspiring and listening culture within the store, empowering team members to share ideas and opinions to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Visual Merchandising: Achieve exceptional visual delivery that reflects the Mint Velvet visual guidelines, creating a welcoming and engaging customer experience.
  • Operational Excellence: Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures, ensuring a sound and robust operation that drives sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Results-Driven: Achieve remarkable results across sales, costs, stock loss, and payroll, using data and analytics to inform business decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • A deep understanding of the retail industry, including market trends and competitor activity.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and driving business growth.
