Senior Design Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Estimator to join our team at Careers in Design Careers. As a Senior Design Estimator, you will play a crucial role in researching and selecting the best practices, materials, and suppliers for manufacturing company designs.

Your primary goal will be to ensure maximum profitability for the company by combining affordability and outstanding quality for our customers. You will be expected to maintain and develop good working relationships with all stakeholders, both internally and externally with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time and raw material, equipment, and labor expenses to prepare and submit RRP quotations for the Sales Team.
  • Understand a supplier's capabilities through research and visits to gather information on materials and outsourcing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible prices and services.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure that all quotations are accurate and meet the company's standards.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
