We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Communications Support Officer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in supporting the production of high-quality content, managing our digital communications, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Production Manager with mailing specifications, collate internal information, create purchase orders, and undertake administration.
- Support the Media Manager by arranging regional coverage for overseas staff in the UK, and provide administrative, planning, and organizational support to the Head of Communications.
- Schedule and plan digital communications, update the print and digital communications schedule, and create content for print and digital channels.
- Administer and curate the archive of documents, collect and store data processing consent forms, and contribute to digital comms including website content and social media.
- Assist in creating monthly print and digital communication documents, monitor staff blogs and external websites for news and research, and upload and remove media assets.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A degree-level qualification or experience of working in an office environment gained through direct work experience or work placements.
- Experience of team working, proficiency in social media, and proficient skills in Microsoft applications, including Excel.
- The ability to communicate positively, assertively, and sensitively within a cross-functional and multi-cultural team environment – internally and externally.
- An efficient and organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities, and flexibility to respond quickly to changing or competing priorities.
- The ability to work on your own initiative and excellent attention to detail.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year plus 8 paid public holidays per year, a non-contributory pension scheme (10% of salary), death in service payment, flexible working policy, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team.
