Location: UK Scotland. Requirement to travel to Whyte and Mackay, 319 St Vincent Street, Glasgow 2 days per week, 3rd party sites and internationally.

Contract: Full Time / Permanent - Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday, 08:30am – 5pm & Friday, 08:30 – 13:00 (35 hours p/w). Travel in the UK and abroad may be required including overnight stays and weekend work may be required in line with duties of the role.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Direct to Consumer Controller to join our team at Whyte and Mackay. As a key member of our global marketing team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our D2C strategy, business model, proposition, and Tech/Ops platform.

You will work closely with our Consumer Tech Controller to deliver vs target revenue growth and luxury consumer experience in line with brand values. This will involve overseeing and/or influencing all aspects of the UK & US D2C business model, including E2E consumer experience, website/boutique management, mobile 1st UX, D2C proposition, D2C product range, marketing/traffic driving, fulfilment and consumer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ongoing evolution and implementation of a D2C strategy, business model, proposition and Tech/Ops platform to deliver vs target revenue growth and luxury consumer experience in line with brand values.
  • Oversee and/or influence (directly or indirectly through partnerships with other internal teams) all aspects of the UK & US D2C business model, including E2E consumer experience, website/boutique management, mobile 1st UX, D2C proposition, D2C product range, marketing/traffic driving, fulfilment and consumer service.
  • Deliver growth vs target revenue, profit and brand metrics by developing and implementing a range of strategies and tactics to improve performance at each part of the consumer journey.
  • Lead the design, specification and measurement of and partner with relevant teams and functions to deliver a luxury experience in line with brand values.
  • Support DX Lead and Market/Brand Teams to develop geographic and brand expansion strategy and operating model executing agreed strategy with markets with supporting operational, tech, data, structure/skills and marketing platforms.
Requirements

We are looking for a senior manager with experience in DTC with a background in luxury goods or premium consumer goods brands. You will have demonstrable experience of managing P&L for E-Commerce and hands-on experience in managing the end-to-end consumer journey, including website management, mobile-first UX design, product range strategy, and fulfillment processes.

You will also have experience in brand building and creating engaging consumer experiences, both online and offline. Strong background in using data analytics to monitor key performance metrics, understand market trends, and optimize conversion rates, revenue, and brand engagement.
