THE ROLE:

The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for leading a Customer Services team, reporting into the Head of Function. The team will be responsible for managing client relationships, utilizing KPIs and processes to monitor client relationships, and providing proactive and collaborative value-added services to clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with key clients of the logistics business to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Utilize data to inform decisions and provide regular reports to Senior Management.
  • Manage the relationship with clients in a proactive and collaborative way, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage client accounts, being the face of the business to them.
  • Engage and motivate the team to set highly professional standards.

THE PERSON:

We are looking for a Customer Services Manager with experience in a logistics or transport setting. The ideal candidate will have overall customer services responsibility for at least 5 heads or more, and be able to account manage clients in a proactive and constructive way.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Customer Services Manager, Client Manager, Account Manager or Client Manager within a Logistics or Transport setting.
  • Able to engage and motivate the team to set highly professional standards.
  • Ability to use data to inform some of your decision-making.
  • Able to liaise from shop-floor to Board level.
