The Role of a Bullion Broker
As a Bullion Broker, you will be responsible for converting enquiries into sales, cultivating relationships with clients, and supporting the company's overall sales function. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Converting enquiries into sales
- Cultivating relationships with clients to cross-sell and up-sell products
- Undertaking administration that supports the company's sales function, including using a bespoke CRM and databases
- Writing blogs and articles for the website and financial press
- Sourcing, exploring, and securing intermediary arrangements with introducers to earn continuing commissions
- Creating distribution channels through IFA sales to enhance volume-based repetitive orders
- Cultivating and developing business infrastructure through marketing, innovative ideas, and additional revenue-generating mechanisms
- Growing the entire business in line with the company's goals, objectives, and values
Requirements for the Role
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree with a 2:1 class or higher, or equivalent experience
- A proven track record of successful sales experience
- An interest in current affairs and money markets
- Knowledgeable about global economics, or the desire to learn
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Gravitas required to captivate clients of all levels
- Strong numerical ability
- Strong written skills
- A 'can do' approach and tenacity
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to cope with changing priorities
- A team player who can work on their own initiative
- A confident communicator, both verbal and written
- Good time-management and planning skills
- A diligent approach to work with a keen eye for detail
