Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Building Safety Consultant to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our construction consultancy, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients across the built environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a broad range of clients in the residential sector, including owner/managers of Higher-Risk Buildings. You will be responsible for supporting and advising clients on building safety matters and developing building safety documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Write and implement engagement strategies to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit building safety cases and reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure statutory compliance for building and fire safety, including the implementation of the Building Safety Act.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience of working with safety management systems and implementing improvements.
  • Knowledge and experience in writing building safety cases and reports.
  • Demonstrable experience of statutory compliance for building and fire safety.
  • A strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and its implications for the construction industry.
