We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Wabtec Corporation. The successful candidate will be accountable for the safe and efficient planning and delivery of all Freight Offsite contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Determine and communicate long-term operational capacity for planning.
- Ensure operational plans are developed, implemented, and meet customer schedules.
- Consistently meet and maintain on-time delivery (OTD) targets ensuring a class-leading standard of customer delivery.
- Constantly review progress against schedules to provide early and good communications to the customers (internal and external).
- Monitor production plans throughout the day monitoring any risks to the plan or on-time delivery.
- Consider all necessary parts, people, tooling, and equipment to meet daily requirements.
- Communicate production progress to the Operations lead, Operations Coordinator, and Project Team members. Highlighting risks, actions, and successes.
- Ensure all maintenance records are completed in a timely manner.
- Experience in providing customer-focused service delivery in a safety and service-critical operational environment.
- Proven experience in performance tracking and improvement management across contracts and products.
- Strong background in data and statistical analysis and trends.
- Sound understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
- Commercial/legal awareness.
- Sound IT skills (particularly MS Excel and Laptop/Tablet computers).
