Job Overview

  1. Oversee the financial management of the organisation, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
  2. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth, improve profitability, and enhance market competitiveness.
  3. Lead the development and implementation of budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accurate financial projections and informed decision-making.
  4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining a strong risk management culture.
  5. Provide regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  7. Analyse financial data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and revenue growth.
  8. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  3. Lead financial forecasting and budgeting activities, ensuring accurate projections and informed decision-making.
  4. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic financial plans, driving business growth and profitability.
  5. Ensure effective financial risk management, maintaining a strong risk culture and mitigating potential risks.

Requirements

  1. Qualification in finance (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and significant experience in financial leadership roles.
  2. Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  3. Extensive knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  5. Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards, with the ability to ensure compliance.
  6. Proficiency in financial management software, with the ability to leverage technology to drive business efficiency.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
