Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Stores Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Engineering stores, including stock control, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Control and Inventory Management: Manage the day-to-day operation of the Engineering stores, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize stock levels and optimize storage capacity.
- Warehouse Management: Oversee the maintenance of a safe and efficient warehouse environment, including the management of warehouse staff.
- Financial Administration: Assist with the preparation of financial reports and budgets related to the Engineering stores.
- Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with engineering department staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, business administration, or engineering.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
