Engineering Stores Manager

**Job Title:** Engineering Stores Controller/Stock Controller
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Stores Controller/Stock Controller to join our team at E3 Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Engineering stores, including stock allocation, inventory control, and purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Engineering stores, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies.
- Develop and implement effective inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
- Procure and purchase materials and supplies in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with the Engineering department to ensure that materials and supplies are delivered to the correct location and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and control stock levels to prevent overstocking and understocking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, inventory turnover, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory control, stockroom management, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
