Trowbridge Agency Support Worker

Job Type: Part-time & full-time hours on temp assignments available

Pay: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour + Holiday Pay and Pension Contribution

We are seeking experienced support workers in the Trowbridge area to provide care and support to individuals with varying needs, including mental health issues, learning disabilities, substance abuse, homelessness, or physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with an existing team of support workers to provide a nurturing environment enabling individuals to gain further independence
  • Encourage and support individuals to promote their independence and well-being
  • Take initiative and have a can-do attitude, with good communication skills

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience in social care (mental health, learning difficulties, autism, challenging behaviour or care work in general)
  • Flexibility to work extra hours, including waking nights, weekends, and holidays
  • DBS on the updated service (desirable)
  • Care certificate (desirable)
  • Driver's license (desirable)
