Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in Trowbridge. As a Support Worker, you will be working with individuals with mental health issues, learning disabilities, substance abuse, homelessness, or physical disabilities.

About the Role:

You will be working with an existing team of Support Workers to provide a nurturing environment that enables people to gain further independence. You will need to have an encouraging and compassionate approach, as well as promoting independence. You will also have a passion for care and be flexible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with mental health issues, learning disabilities, substance abuse, homelessness, or physical disabilities
  • Work with an existing team of Support Workers to provide a nurturing environment
  • Encourage and promote independence
  • Have a passion for care and be flexible
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience in social care (mental health, learning difficulties, autism, challenging behaviour or care work in general)
  • Want to work flexible/extra hours (mainly agency temp shifts can go up to 40+ hours a week)
  • Take initiative, can do attitude and good communication
