Regulatory Reporting Senior Manager

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Senior Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Regulatory Reporting function and contribute to the transformation of our systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior expertise and leadership in the preparation of regulatory returns submitted to our regulators, the Bank of England, the Prudential Regulation Authority, and the Financial Conduct Authority.
- Lead and manage the team's workloads, ensuring resources are planned, tasks are covered, and deadlines are met without risk of error or late submissions.
- Support the transformation of the regulatory reporting function, including the implementation of new reporting software, procedures, and governance processes.
- Highlight industry subject matter expertise on regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring the team stays up-to-date with new reporting requirements and amendments to existing reporting.
We are looking for a senior expert in regulatory reporting with a strong understanding of the importance of quality and accuracy in regulatory reporting. You must be a highly organized individual who can work under pressure and remain calm and focused on achieving tight deadlines.
You will have the ability and confidence to explain complex guidance and provide challenge to stakeholders at all levels. You must also have excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written documents related to policy frameworks, regulatory discussion papers, and consultation papers.
Requirements- ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) with 3 years PQE.
- Excel intermediate+ level, including pivots, lookups, and if statements.
- Broad knowledge of CBS organization, products for both Retail and Wholesale.
- Ability and experience in interpreting complex guidance published by regulators and translating it into a non-technical format.
- Knowledge of Financial Services industry.
- Experience in designing and implementing efficient processes with robust controls to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Report writing skills.
- Knowledge of Treasury instruments.
- Experience in FINREP regulatory reporting.
This is a full-time role, with a minimum of 1 day per week working from our Coventry office. We offer a range of benefits, including 28 days' holiday, buy and sell holiday, pension employer contribution, discretionary bonus scheme, and full spectrum of employee benefits.
