Role Overview:
As a versatile engineering technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of both mechanical and electrical systems within designated facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support general operations, including repairs and maintenance tasks. Execute new equipment installations.
  • Conduct checks, repairs, and replacements of essential components such as valves, motors, and controls.

  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained and operates safely.
  • Assist with low voltage switching and electrical isolations on intricate systems.
  • Analyze historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection and preventive maintenance schedules.

  • Deliver efficient and reliable service to clients.
  • Utilize general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to complete assigned tasks and resolve routine issues.

  • Possess a broad understanding of your job discipline along with some knowledge of other related disciplines.

  • Lead by example, embodying behaviors that align with company values.
  • Influence the quality of your work and that of your team.
  • Operate primarily within established procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Simplify complex information for others in straightforward situations.
  • Supervise vendor maintenance activities.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of relevant experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program is preferred, with a mechanical focus being advantageous.

  • Willingness to engage in training to enhance skills.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting/carrying heavy items.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Familiarity with existing procedures and standards to address moderately complex problems.
  • Capacity to analyze potential solutions using technical expertise to apply sound judgment.

  • Strong organizational skills paired with a curious mindset.
