Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on on-premises database upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Provide comprehensive support for existing databases, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Design and implement robust solutions leveraging service-based and serverless architectures.
  • Contribute to agile development processes, adhering to Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Monitor cloud database performance using tools like CloudWatch and Grafana, ensuring optimal uptime and resource utilization.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code practices, streamlining deployment and configuration management.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing, safeguarding data integrity and system resilience.
  • Leverage expertise in data replication and high-availability technologies to ensure continuous service availability.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, Ansible, Typescript, CDK, Cloud Formation, SQL, and monitoring solutions like CloudWatch and Grafana.
  • Strong understanding of cloud database monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools, and processes.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery procedures and data replication technologies.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Informix, Oracle, Typescript, OpenSearch, and Serverless (Lambda).
