At Lloyds Banking Group, we're seeking a skilled Database Engineer to join our dynamic Service Run team. As a Database Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our applications and IT systems.

Key responsibilities include implementing and managing database solutions, analysing data, and collaborating with other teams to address related issues. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving system performance, delivering efficient, reliable, and effective database solutions.

The Database Engineer will be responsible for managing Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres Databases, providing DBA and Application support services, setting up, managing, and supporting databases and applications, ensuring compliance with quality standards, data integrity, security, and performance of databases.

As a line manager, you'll also be responsible for coaching, supporting, and directing two other database engineers, overseeing database administration, upgrades, performance tuning, and backup/recovery. Oracle and SQL Server accreditation is required, with experience with SQL Server being beneficial.
