Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ant Yapi (UK) Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with contractual conditions and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontractors on a daily basis, including tasks such as tendering, negotiation, and contract administration before and after awarding contracts.
  • Monitor project costs compared to budgeted amounts, prepare contract forecasts, and identify risks and opportunities for project spending/budgets.
  • Develop and execute effective commercial strategies to optimize project cost management, handle all commercial correspondence and contractual notices.
  • Identify emerging problems proactively and report contractual claims, assist in managing and resolving legal and/or commercial disputes.
  • Lead final account settlements on all projects, ensuring adherence to project authority and agreed-upon timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate project budgets and forecasts, review and negotiate variations/change orders with subcontractors and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all commercial activities, including contracts, variations, and claims.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cost control and contract management.
  • Industrial project experience, fluent English.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple aspects of the project simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring quality control in large-scale projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on a contract basis for the entire project duration.
