About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team at Rethink Mental Illness. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by severe mental illness to regain their confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to service users, helping them to set and achieve personal goals
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Facilitate access to community resources and services to promote recovery and well-being
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting dignity and respect for all service users
Requirements
  • Transferable life/work experience, with a strong understanding of mental health issues and recovery principles
  • Excellent listening and empathy skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users
  • Values alignment with Rethink Mental Illness, including hope, understanding, expertise, equity, commitment, passion, and openness
