About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team at Rethink Mental Illness. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by severe mental illness to regain their confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to service users, helping them to set and achieve personal goals
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support and care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the service
Requirements
  • Transferable life/work experience and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent listening and empathy skills, with a patient and understanding approach
  • Alignment with the values of Rethink Mental Illness, including hope, understanding, expertise, equity, commitment, passion, and openness
