Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling aluminum and steel heat exchangers, ensuring precision and quality in every step of the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Degreasing components to prepare them for assembly
  • Assembling matrix components with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Utilizing jigs and fixtures to ensure precise alignment during assembly
  • Participating in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Adhering to strict Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Qualifications:

  • Recognized engineering apprenticeship, such as City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent, or proven experience in a comparable role
  • Proficiency in using measuring equipment, including Vernier calipers and micrometers
  • Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings
  • Flexibility and willingness to work shifts (AM/PM/Nights) as required

Security Clearance: This position may involve access to export-controlled information and hardware. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of security checks, export license approval, and a non-disclosure agreement.
