Job Title: Assembly and Test Technician

Job Summary:

Omega is seeking an experienced Assembly and Test Technician to join our manufacturing team. As an Assembly and Test Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing complex hydraulic products, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of hydraulic products to identify faults and defects.
  • Assemble complex hydraulic products, following engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and quality control procedures.
  • Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Build and repair complex hydraulic products, using a range of assembly tools and equipment.
  • Use precision measuring instruments, such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, and Height Gauges, to inspect component parts.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and follow different set procedures and protocols.
  • Competency with a range of assembly tools and equipment.
  • Hydraulic testing experience.
