Job Title: Year 5 Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a brilliant school in Westminster. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children from 9+ years old on a 1:1 or group basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children in Key Stage 2 with their academic and personal development
  • Working closely with experienced and knowledgeable Primary Teachers to deliver high-quality education
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Providing individualized support to children with mild SEN, including ADHD, Autism (ASD), and Dyslexia
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Hold a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
  • Basic understanding of mild SEN and ability to adapt to individual needs
  • Good academics, including GCSEs, A Levels, and Degree
  • Outgoing, committed, and bright graduate with a passion for education
