Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Cluster Maintenance Manager will:

  • Lead and develop the maintenance teams across two hotel properties.
  • Oversee all repairs and maintenance of hotel facilities, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Evaluate whether maintenance projects should be conducted internally or outsourced, scheduling accordingly.
  • Manage service contracts for all equipment, adhering to best practices and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance schedules based on guest feedback and operational needs.
  • Maintain inventory for optimal operational efficiency, initiating orders as necessary.
  • Ensure cost-effective procurement of maintenance supplies and services.
  • Participate in management meetings and foster collaboration with department heads.
  • Monitor energy consumption to promote sustainability and cost reduction.
  • Supervise the maintenance of guest rooms and public areas to ensure exceptional standards.
  • Manage the upkeep of external facilities, including signage and landscaping.
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Maintenance Management role within a 4-star hotel environment.
  • Strong general maintenance skills, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • A keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT.
  • Health and Safety certifications.
